Chris is the CEO and Managing Partner of GenRev Consulting, located at the firm’s headquarters in Austin, Texas.
He brings more than 30 years of expertise, including multi-national, Fortune 500 companies, and Big 4. He holds a degree in Accounting/Computer Information Systems from the University of Arkansas.
He has attained professional accolades such as has The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) International Distinguished Faculty Member, Auditor of the Year, and Distinguished Service Award, as well as Coalition of Leaders and President’s Award with Fortune 500 companies.
He currently serves the internal audit profession, or has previously served, in Officer, Committee and Board positions for The IIA and The Information Systems Audit And Control Association, was involved at The IIA international level as an author and instructor, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and universities.
Lucie Wuescher
Private Sector Partner
Lucie is the Private Sector Partner, located at the firm’s headquarters in Austin, Texas.
She brings more than 27 years of public accounting experience leading large-scale internal audit and compliance teams at firms such as PwC, KPMG, and Forvis Mazars serving Fortune 500 organizations in the energy, utilities, midstream, manufacturing, and technology industries. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Westminster College.
As a Risk Architect, Lucie meticulously evaluates processes and systems, identifying risks and inefficiencies. Her expertise transforms complexity into streamlined, robust frameworks that drive compliance and operational excellence. She has served clients in varying capacities—from leading full outsourced internal audit functions and serving as Chief Audit Executive, to directing SOX implementations, enterprise risk assessments, and internal audit transformations—providing assurance to leadership, boards, and directors that their organizations are operating on solid ground.
She currently serves on The Institute of Internal Auditors Chapter Board of Governors in Austin and past roles on The IIA International’s Three Lines of Defense Advisory Board, shaping global guidance on risk governance. Lucie is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on internal audit transformation, industry sector risks, and governance frameworks.
Larry Douglas - CFE, CISA, CGAP
Public Sector / Non-Profit Partner
Larry Douglas is the Public Sector / Non-Profit Partner of GenRev Consulting, located at the firm’s headquarters in Austin, Texas.
He is a 28-year veteran in the audit community and has held leadership positions in both public sector and professional services arenas, as well as served on multiple education associations and non-profit foundations. He holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Texas State University – San Marcos, and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from California State University – Dominguez Hills.
He has attained professional accolades such as being named a recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus award for the Texas State MPA Program and recognition as an Emerging Leader by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
He currently serves the internal audit profession, or has previously served, in Officer, Committee, and Board positions for The Institute of Internal Auditors and The Information Systems Audit and Control Association and is a frequent speaker at conferences and universities.
Steve Goodson, CIA, CISA, CGAP, CRMA, CCSA, CLEA
Senior Advisor, QAR & Internal Audit Excellence
Mr. Goodson is a senior internal audit executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across state government, higher education, and professional practice. He retired from the State of Texas as Chief Auditor of the Texas Department of Public Safety and later served as Interim Chief Internal Auditor for the University of North Texas System. He previously led internal audit functions at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, where his team received multiple statewide and national recognitions for quality and performance.
Mr. Goodson teaches internal auditing at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and leads his own internal audit consulting practice. He is a recognized thought leader, published author, and frequent speaker on audit strategy, risk management, governance, and quality assurance.
When he is not teaching, Steve enjoys helping internal audit shops improve through the internal audit quality assurance process. He has conducted more than seventy external quality assurance reviews.
